Bringing The Noise: From The Rumble Seat says…BEAT NORTH CAROLINA. Could be tough without Jonathan Dwyer. The AJC gives you what you need to know about the 2009 Tar Heels. I don’t know what the heck this is, but I think it is possibly funny(atleast the photoshop). Another Raycom UNC blog discusses the importance of the GT-UNC game from the Heels’ perspective. Georgia Tech simplifying the D while openly criticizing his guys. The Heels lost a lot at the WR position, but are starting to see some players break out this season. GT Raycom blog says UNC is a must-win game…and I can’t disagree there.
Watch This Over…: FSU-USF, dyslexia is fun in all, but this is a key conference matchup.

Must-See Matchup: FSU Running Game vs. USF D
The ‘Noles ran wild on the Cougars last week–it’s no secret–they continue that and they will go far in this game and beyond.
Bringing The Noise: FSU’s youth behind a resurgence…and boy are they gonna be good next year too. USF could be better without Grothe?
Watch This Over…: The Little Rascals, on second thought, FSU should take care of business–go ahead and watch it.
- Wake Forest Demon Deacons @ Boston College Eagles / 4LN360 / 2:00 p.m. ET
Must-See Matchup: BC O-line vs. Wake D-Line
The Eagles line struggled against a big, aggressive Clemson defensive line and Wake Forest’s main strength is there also(but not to the same degree)
Bringing The Noise: Deacs official site with some news and notes going into the game. Wake fullbacks getting some key carries this season.
Watch This Over…: Michigan State-Wisconsin, boring Big Ten football<boring ACC football.
- Miami Hurricanes @ Virginia Tech Hokies / ABC-4LN2-Gameplan / 3:30 p.m. ET
Must-See Matchup: QB Jacory Harris vs. VT Pass Rush
That meaning–there will have to be a pass rush to see this matchup actually happen.
Bringing The Noise: AS UNC-GT is a key Coastal Division game, VT lose this one and they are done according to Gobbler Country. HD highlights VT RB Ryan Williams’ necessary role in the Hokies’ offense. Hampton Roads’ Kyle Tucker looks at Hokies D vs. Miami. Having Virgil at DB will be key in stopping a Cat 5 Hurricanes’ offense right now.
Watch This Over…: Arkansas-BAMA, this is the best ACC game of the day–required watching.

Must-See Matchup: NCSU QB Russell Wilson versus an FBS Defense
We saw his first performance–then his two cartoonish games against actually beatable FCS teams, but here we go again with teams that can go to bowls and Wilson needs to prove something before the stretch of eight ACC games ahead.
Bringing The Noise: NC State begins to play real football teams again and it’s a new beginning for Wilson and Co. I don’t know what was in the story, but the headline has “Wannstache” in it. Is NC State going to have any players left for the ACC season? Yikes.
Watch This Over…: Ohio State-Illinois, boring Big Ten football<boring Big East/ACC matchup.

Must-See Matchup: Maryland Offense vs. Rutgers’ D
Maryland has to outscore every team they play this season in order to win.
Bringing the Noise: Maryland’s scheduling leading to losses?(or it could be coaching) Another Raycom Terps blog finds that silver lining to a very dark cloud. Washington Times shows Ralph Friedgen’s suckiest teams and ranks them. Just read the lead to this story…if you are not a Terps fan(because I wouldn’t want to add to your misery).

Must-See Matchup: Clemson’s Kyle Parker vs. Horned Frogs Secondary
BC got the better of young man last week and Parker will be forced to throw it even more this week–the results have to be there or the Tigers go down.
Bringing The Noise: Clemson playing Beamer Ball according to HD(and I had this thought too recently). Speaking of Beamer Ball, Gobbler Country has Clemson/Miami winning their sides of the conference. The Tigers are not satified with FGs and want Orange in the endzone. The flu might be one of Clemson’s biggest opponents this week. TCU’s defense is flat-out sick. The flu and Clemson’s anchor Hairston going down are all not so positive events when facing that D.
Watch This Over…: Anything not named Miami-VT, luckily for you, fire this up on your laptop/computer and watch the Miami game.
