ACC Mid-Week Hype Machine Coming Later!

ACC is rising in the polls after some mid-season struggles.

In the AP Week 11 NCAA rankings, Georgia Tech benefited from the losses of the teams around them and avoided the upset themselves to get to 7th. Miami is at 12 which is interesting–they have not been great lately, but I wonder if they are really worse than Ohio State. Penn State was overrated to begin with so their win really does not vault the Buckeyes over the Canes in my estimation. At best, they probably should only move up one spot. The Hokies and Tigers bring up the rear of the ACC’s spot in the polls as Virginia Tech is 20 and Clemson is 24 which are appropriate stops I think. All four teams should be favored in their remaining games in the regular season which should really bolster the ACC’s reputation down the stretch if they all win.

This post could also be here just to gloat for going undefeated in my ACC picks straight up this past week, but we were humbled a bit ATS. If you know anything about Las Vegas NCAA betting lines, the guys in the desert know their stuff. ECU-VT was right at the line so I pushed there and the game I felt was a near lock with taking Duke over UNC against the spread–went in the Tar Heels favor. Overall, I went 3-2-1 to get to 34-25-1 on the season.

Is the ACC getting enough respect in the rankings? Am I getting enough respect for my most excellent picks(lol)?
