Welcome to the ACC Football Mid-Week Hype Machine, check out the game info, matchups, news and other greatness about the week in ACC football below…

  • 12/05/09  Clemson Tigers vs. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets / 4LN / 8:00 p.m. ET

Must-See Matchup: GT Offense vs. Clemson Defense

Georgia Tech put up over 300 rushing yards, but only had one long rushing TD in their earlier game. They were shut down in the 3rd quarter and managed two field goals to tie and get the lead back in the 4th. Clemson has the capability to run with the Jackets’ offense, but is not playing its best ball right now.

Bringing The Noise: Clemson getting physical before this week’s game, Steve Spurrier of all people is a source of encouragement for Dabo this week, a change in mentality was big in Clemson this season, From the Rumble Seat gets their stat on with how Clemson struggles with quality drives, Clemson’s defensive line is drawing praise from Paul Johnson, Shakin The Southland checks in what they have been watching for from Clemson this season, GT DE Derrick Morgan is priority one for the Clemson offensive line, C.J. Spiller has been the man behind the run to the ACC Championship Game, Shakin the Southland back with how to stop an aspect of the option, Tech ready to avenge defensive effort vs. UGA(gonna be two mad sides of the ball facing off there), and Gobbler Country gives some keys and helpful links for the game.

Watch This Over…: Texas vs. Nebraska, the ‘Horns got their scare last week and shouldn’t have a problem with the Huskers, but Clemson-Georgia Tech is one of the better ACC rivalries and was a dramatic game already this season.

Again, call your shot! Who wins and why? Thanks for stopping  by!
